Ben Skinner is a new age lawyer who prides himself on delivering his clients with first class service. Ben listens to his clients and tailors his service to their individual needs. As a result, Ben’s clients enjoy working with him.
After beginning his legal career as an Articled Clerk in Melbourne, Ben traveled to the UK to diversify his legal experience in London, where he was employed by one of the leading 20 London firms.
Ben later returned to Australia and began practicing in the areas of commercial litigation, insolvency, employment law and intellectual property law. Ben prefers the high level of service and care that ‘boutique’ legal firms can offer clients, and it was within this environment that he united with Anita Aarons and Darren Eliau and together, they realised the need for a new type of law firm.
As primarily a litigation lawyer, Ben is proficient in appearing and instructing in all jurisdictions, including VCAT, Magistrate, County, Supreme, Federal and Federal Magistrates Courts. He is also connected to an extensive network of barristers, giving him the ability to offer expertise in a wide range of specific areas of law.
Ben is the definition of a ‘young gun’ partner. He is known for his youthful, passionate and personal approach. He is extremely client-focused, making sure each customer feels at ease from the first meeting, through to the final outcome.
Outside of work, Ben leads a very active lifestyle. He enjoys keeping fit, going to the gym and the occasional surf. He is also looking forward to being a dad for the first time in August, and his wedding in January next year.
