Christian obtained a Bachelor of Laws at Victoria University in 2007 and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the Leo Cussen Institute in 2008.
Prior to commencing his employment with Clamenz Evans Ellis in January 2010, Christian worked for the Court of Appeal at the Supreme Court of Victoria.
Christian has held the position of Associate at Clamenz Evans Ellis since June 2011 and his primary areas of practice are litigation, insolvency and employment.
Christian has a keen interest in advocacy and regularly appears in each of the Victorian Courts, including appearing against counsel at trial in a commercial dispute in the County Court of Victoria. Christian also appears regularly in the Federal and Federal Magistrates Courts and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Christian regularly advises clients in respect of both personal and corporate insolvency, including acting on behalf of creditors and debtors; employment disputes, from the perspective of both employers and employees; and wide ranging corporate issues and disputes.
Christian’s interests include playing football for the Watsonia Saints Football Club, playing basketball with the Clamenz Evans Ellis team and educating his colleagues on the finer points of old-school hip hop.
