Daniel is admitted as a solicitor and barrister in both the NSW Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia. He holds bachelor degrees in both Commerce and Law with majors in Applied Econometric Analysis and Accounting as well as a Masters of Laws from the University of Sydney.
Daniel’s experience in Corporate Advisory, M&A, tax and dealing with High Net Worth clients is significant. He has been involved in matters including tax and structuring advice, corporate crime, Corporations Act issues, corporate fund raising, corporate advisory, legal due diligence, mergers and acquisitions and is well regarded by a wide range of accounting and legal professionals.
Daniel is regarded as a trusted advisor to his clients, which including many high net worth individuals, on all aspects of their business and personal interests in areas including major litigation, contentious matters with the ATO, ASIC and ICAC, capital raisings for clients including various public companies and providing legal support for mergers and acquisitions.
Daniel is a member of the Australian Tax Office’s Personal Tax Advisory Group, has been a Finalist in the Australian of the Year Award Program in 2003 and 2008, a finalist of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, is on the board of several well regarded charities and is a director of a wide range of public and private companies.
He has also been a visiting expert for the Commonwealth Bank – Dollars & Sense Website, a member of the Department of Education, Science and Training Employability Skills Taskforce and a Delegate, selected by the Australian Government, to the Asia Pacific Economic Co-operation (APEC) Forum in 2003 in Monterrey, Mexico. Daniel’s experience allows him to use his legal and business skills to provide personal, practical, effective and holistic advice to his clients.
